Marinated Chicken Skewers

Ingredients:

  • 500g of chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • For the marinade:
    • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon of honey
    • 1 teaspoon of paprika
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water to prevent burning

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients until well combined.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, toss to coat evenly, then cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, ideally overnight.
  3. Once the chicken is well marinated, preheat your grill to medium heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces, bell pepper chunks, and onion chunks onto the wooden skewers, alternating the ingredients.
  5. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, turning regularly, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
  6. Serve the skewers hot with rice, salad, or your favorite side dish, and enjoy!

These Marinated Chicken Skewers are perfect for a family barbecue or gathering with friends. The flavorful marinade gives the chicken a tender and delicious taste, while the grilled vegetables add a touch of freshness and color to this summer dish.
