Une \u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les personnes suivant un r\u00e9gime v\u00e9g\u00e9tarien pr\u00e9sentaient des taux plus faibles de LDL (mauvais cholest\u00e9rol) (Link, 2018). Dans une autre \u00e9tude, on a constat\u00e9 que les v\u00e9g\u00e9taliens en particulier avaient 44 % moins de cholest\u00e9rol LDL que les omnivores (Craig, 2009).
